Family Medical Center is a medical home for your personal and family medical needs. We manage and integrate your direct and referred care.
Referrals to specialty providers for initial evaluation and continuation of care are handled by the office and often require an appointment.
Necessary referrals may require you to call your insurance company or refer to their website / customer services to provide us with a listing of covered providers in your insurer's network.
Imaging, lab testing, and other ancillary services may be ordered as part of your care plan. Please check with your insurer for guidance on preferred lab testing facilities and imaging services as appropriate.
Refills for prescriptions are generally handled at appointments and are authorized or discussed during the visit. For refills of medications prescribed to you by Family Medical Center, please contact your pharmacy to request a refill. Refills will be authorized according to office policy.
